Favicons (favorite icons) are the tiny images that show up beside the url of the site your are currently browsing. If no custom icon is set, the default icon of the browser is shown. Older IE versions only support these when the site is added in the bookmarks. This works fine with Firefox and Opera all the time.
You need to agree on the Terms Of Use.
To use,
- Click on the favicon image you want to use.
- A new page will open the icon file, right click and save it. Upload to your server.
- Put the following code inside your < head > and < / head > tags. Change the url to where you uploaded the icon.
