My Very First Vector Image!
I really thank my GRAPHCS class for requiring us to submit an entry to FEU East Asia College’s Digital Design Competition. It gave me enough motivation to learn how to vectorize images. I always wondered how vector images are done I can’t believe that I just made my own vector image last night. I almost got blinded adjusting the curves of paths using extremely tiny anchor points. >_< I used Adobe Illustrator CS3 to make this:

The superheroine I’d use as part of my entry to the competition. Might still edit this
I traced the figure from this image:

You can see the difference between the original image and the image that I made out of it.
And by the way, the theme of the Digital Design Competition this year is “Solving the World’s Everyday Problems through Information Technology.”
I’d place that superheroine image that I made on the center of the canvas, and then scatter web browsers behind her. Those web browsers show different helpful websites that help the internet users in their everyday needs. And behind those browsers are random codes such as that of Java, html, css, PHP, etcetera.
The submission is on Friday. I really hope I can make it on time.
Some parts of the contest’s mechanics is a little vague to me. Maybe I’ll go ask Mr. Bravo about it.
And, good luck to all participants. xD

Like I said before, great job!
I still can’t figure out what a “vector image” exactly is, but whatever
Ooh I love love vectors! I liked how the details of what you made turned out to be soo smooth! Ive only done one vector and its not even half as good as yours!
Thumbs up!
Yay, your work is great
two thumbs up.
Job well done! I have been into graphics editing and havent tried to vector images yet. I like your first work. It seems to be an expert’s job.
