November 27, 2007 Earthquake that Shook Manila and other Parts of Luzon
Today I only went to school to take our ADVPROG long quiz and skipped the rest of the classes because of this cough and cold. I need much rest because tomorrow, Wednesday, we’ll be off “somewhere” (I forgot where) on our NSTP1 tour from 7am to 5pm. We also have a long quiz in trigo on Thursday, take note that I’m so poor in my trigo class that I spend a long time reviewing.
I was about to fall asleep when I felt like my bed is moving. I thought that what I felt was just my blood pumping hard all over my body (it happens sometimes). After a few seconds I felt that my bed was really moving. It was a quake. As I felt it, it wasn’t intense at all. But when I texted my classmates in school, they said it was an intense, scary one, that everyone were about to panic until the professor told them, “Don’t panic, just pray!”
The class was on the sixth floor that the shaking was that intense, while here at home it wasn’t like that because we’re only on the third floor. My classmate told me that the lights were also shaking and as well as the water tubes.
When the quake shook our building, I was just lying on my back, feeling if the shaking will strengthen or weaken. That’s what I always do when there is an earthquake.
It was at intensity 3 here in Manila, and intensity 2 in Quezon City, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte and Gapan Nueva Ecija.
Let’s hope that no greater earthquake will follow for many many years.
Right now I’m browsing the web for information about Houston botox treatments. Is it safe? Hmmm..
