Planning to Form a Rock Band

Kuya Stephen asked me if I wanna form a band.. a tentative but serious band…

Of course I said yes. Being a part of a band is one of my dreams! Kuya Stephen is the lead guitarist and I’m the vocalist. Then we invited Boss (bassist) and Eric (rhythm guitar) to join us and they also said yes.

I was so excited. But after some time, that excitement turned into worry. I suddenly remembered how STRICT my dad is. He doesn’t want me to be surrounded by boys. He’s always like that. *sigh* I don’t blame him. I can understand his point that I am actually thankful. But still…

He doesn’t want me to be the only girl in the band because he thinks it doesn’t look good for a girl to be surrounded by a bunch of guys. But hey dad, this is professional relationship! And look at those bands with female vocalists, aren’t those girls the only girls in the band? And do those girls look sleazy or something!

I just wish I were a boy!
